Mosa Mpetha er filmkurator for svarte, afrikanske arkivfilmer. I foredraget “Afrikansk film  – Levende historie” deler hun kunnskap om afrikansk filmhistorie og fra arbeidet sitt med prosjektene Cinema Africa og African Archive Research. La deg inspireres av Mpethas lidenskap for arkivfilmer og spesielt bevaring og beskyttelse av afrikansk kulturarv. 

Mosa Mpetha kuraterer «Cinema Africa!», en permanent afrikansk filmstreng på Hyde Park Picture House i samarbeid med lokale afrikanske samfunn. Mosa støtter og arbeider for å styrke muligheter til uavhengige/gjør-det-selv filmutstillere. Dessuten er hun involvert i Scalarama Leeds Film Festival, opprettet Leeds Film Network og veileder nye programmerere.

Hun er arbeider deltid med digitale projeksjoner og er under opplæring i 16 mm trykkprojeksjon og arkivfilmpraksis.

Mosa Mpetha is a film curator for black, African and archival films. In the lecture “African Film – Living History” she shares her knowledge of African film history and her work with the projects Cinema Africa and African Archive Research. Be inspired by Mpetha’s passion for archival films and especially the preservation and protection of African cultural heritage.

Mosa Mpetha is a film curator of Black, African and Archive films. Mosa curates Cinema Africa! a permanent African film strand at Hyde Park Picture House in partnership with local African communities. Mosa is a supporter of and advocate for independent and DIY exhibitors. She is also involved in the Scalarama Leeds Film Festival, she created the Leeds Film Network and mentors new programmers.
